Description
Before becoming a patient at the UCLA Dental Clinics, you will first be screened to determine if the General Clinic (pre-doctoral) is a good fit for your dental care needs. The oral health screening is free-of-charge. Following screening and if accepted as a patient, you will be assigned to a dental student and supervising faculty member from the UCLA School of Dentistry. If you wish to inititate treatment, we will take the necessary radiographs, assess the state of your general health and develop a treatment plan. The fee for the radiographs, assessment of your general health and treatment plan is $95. Before becoming a patient at the UCLA Venice Dental Center, you will first be screened by a faculty member to determine if your treatment needs are a good fit for the teaching environment. A full series of X-rays or basic X-rays will be taken as needed, determined by the screening faculty. The fee for the full series of X-rays is $50. Once the screening process is complete and the patient is accepted as a potential teaching case in our student clinic, he/she will be scheduled for a comprehensive oral examination to assess the general state of their oral health and create a full-mouth treatment plan. The fee for the oral examination is $45 in the student clinic.
